The Rothbury Festival is a sustainable four-day jam band music festival in Rothbury, Michigan at the Double JJ Ranch. The festival first occurred in 2008 during the 4th of July holiday weekend. In addition to music and arts, the festival is intended to promote sustainability and promote overall improvements to the environment. The details are similar this year, with a stronger focus on think tanks and a different line-up | MAP
The festival, which is produced by AEG Live and Madison House Presents, first publicly released its plans for creation on February 13, 2008, along with the initial lineup.
This year, Greener Milwaukee was invited through both Absolute Michigan & the Rothbury Festival promoters Madison House. We will be posting video, pics, and updates on our blog HERE as well as covering the “Think Tank” portions of the event.
Travel was provide by the Lake Express, America’s first high speed auto ferry that has delighted travelers on Lake Michigan with its unique blend of modern comfort and speed since 2004. (Watch a video of the ship pulling 5 college students!)
